Rebrov partnered Andrey Shevchenko up front for Kiev in the nineties scoring 121 goals in 248 appearances. He then joined Tottenham Hotspurs in an £11 million deal but enjoyed a torrid time at White Hart Lane before moving across London to Upton Park.

His appearances for the Hammers this term have been limited mainly due to the form of the three main strikers Booby Zamora, Marlon Harewood and Teddy Sheringham.

Rebrov joins Kiev on a 3-year deal and told Uefa’s official website “
I was a free agent and had a number of choices, but Dynamo was the only place I really wanted to come to restart my career,

”I'm glad I came back. My soul belongs here.”belongs here.”
