According to the official site sales are up on this time last year and also the number of new season ticket applicants has also increased.
The fixture list for the new season is due for release tomorrow and this should prompt many more fans into action in order to secure their seats for what proves to be an exciting adventure at the Boleyn Ground.
The club's Head of matchday sales Steve Kitcher told the official site, "Once again the West Ham United supporters have demonstrated their loyalty to the team. The 2009/10 promises to be an exciting campaign under Gianfranco Zola and by the time the season kicks off on 15 August we're optimistic we'll have an increase on last year's numbers.
"We'd like to thank all of the fans who have already applied and would remind those that haven't already renewed that the deadline for applications is Wednesday 1 July."
