Jordan Spence has agreed a new three-year deal. The club has just announced

The talented 21-year-old defender had been out of contract this close season having signed a 12-month deal last summer.

West Ham see him as a long-term asset at Upton Park and have now secured his services on a fresh deal.

Spence,  made two Premier League appearances last season, will put pen-to-paper on his new contract when he returns from holiday next week.

The England Under-21 international has enjoyed loan spells with Leyton Orient, Scunthorpe and Bristol City.
