Tarrico Out, Sheringham on Holiday

Tarrico pulled up with a hamstring injury in West Ham’s ill-tempered defeat to local rivals Millwall on Sunday.

The 31-year old free transfer from Spurs only managed 27 minutes of his debut before being replaced by Anton Ferdinand.

Alan Pardew said when talking to the official site this morning “Mauricio injured his hamstring and had to come off with only half an hour gone, which was a massive disappointment for him, unfortunately, the hamstring can be a difficult area and he’s now a doubt for Saturday’s game.”

Meanwhile, Teddy Sheringham has today been reportedly taking a holiday with his girlfriend in Barbados. According to one tabloid newspaper, the former England star has “topped up his tan”, “stripped off to soak up the rays” and “is certainly making the most of his time off”.

This will surely increase the already strong, but so far unsubstantiated, rumours circulating Upton Park that Sheringham has had a bust up with Alan Pardew and will be leaving the club during the January transfer window.
