Tarrico's Contract Cancelled

Tarrico only joined on a free transfer from Spurs earlier this month and has only played 27 minutes of first team football. He picked up a groin injury against Millwall, which will keep him out of action for up to 8 weeks.

Tarrico said this morning when speaking to the official site, “I came to West Ham United to be of service to the club, and I obviously won't be able to contribute if I'm having treatment for over two months”.

Under-fire West Ham manager Alan Pardew also added “This is one of the most honest acts I have experienced. When Tanno knew he was going to be out for so long, he felt very uncomfortable about the situation and came to me offering to terminate his contract

“He didn't have to make that decision which shows that his character and personality off the pitch is far removed from the image sometimes portrayed.”

Tarrico’s decision to leave the Hammers should allow Pardew to bring in another new defender.
