The Court Jesters

The City of Sheffield's second most famous team claim that they were relegated from the Premiership at the end of the 2006/2007 season because West Ham broke minor rules regarding third-party influences
when they signed Tevez and Mascherano from Corinthians two years ago.

The Hammers were fined a record sum of £5.5 million by the Premier League and Tevez was deemed eligible to continue playing for the remainder of the season.

Neil Warnock's side then lost their final home game of the season against relegation rivals Wigan after having a 10 point cushion at one stage in the season whilst the Hammers battled back to win 7 of the their final 9 games.

Despite the football doing the talking on the pitch the sore losers from Sheffield continue their 'campaign for justice' bizarrely demanding between £30m and £50m for being the 3rd worst team of that season.

Perhaps if they'd of invested in some new players instead of making a joke of themselves in the media they might have managed promotion last year.
