The Noble Operation

The brave England U-21 international has been playing with the injury for sometime now but Alan Curbishley faces being without him for at least two weeks.

Curbs told Sky Sports News, "Mark Noble has had a hernia operation. He came off against Coventry feeling really sore so he's out.

"He's not going to be around for a couple of weeks.


"So we get a couple back and one goes out. That's just life at the moment."


In more positive news, James Collins, Freddie Ljungberg and Dean Ashton have all started training again after their recent injury problems.
