Upson Up

Upson was the first to react when the ball dropped down onto the floor in the box following an England corner in the 23rd minute. A calamity error from John Terry and substitute goalkeeper Scott Carson gifted the home side an undeserved equaliser in the second half but just as it was looking like the game was heading for a draw the England Captain headed home an 85th minute winner.

Speaking to ITV after the game John Terry said, "He was different class (Upson).

"He swept up brilliantly, won a lot of headers, a lot of clearances behind. He is great on the ball as well and gave us a goal. He doesn't stop talking, he was fantastic."
