West Ham slipped to their third defeat in four games on Sunday away to Millwall and the pressure on Pardew has been growing ever since. Chant’s of “Are you Roeder in disguise?” and “We want Pardew Out” were heard loudly from the Hammers’ away faithful.

Pardew was only appointed as West Ham manager moving from Reading 14 months ago.

This morning managing director Paul Aldridge spoke to the official site and said, “
I can understand the frustration. Everyone says we have the best squad in the league and because of that we expect promotion.

”We all want to get back to the Premiership and I can assure you we share the fans' disappointment - but changing the manager at the moment is not an option”
