Ward Signs New Deal

The impressive 20-year old has made the step up to first team level with ease and has now started to form a solid partnership in the centre of the Hammers defence with Anton Ferdinand.

He told the club’s official website “It's been a brilliant few weeks.

“When I first came into the side against Crewe it was just a case of finding my feet.

“But by the Wigan game I felt more settled and it's really been a case of trying to contribute a bit more to the team each time I play.”
