"We've got to expect to do better if we are going to get out of this league," a disappointed Brooking said after the 1-1 draw with The Lions at Upton Park on sunday lunchtime.
"Millwall warranted something, but if we think we are going to bounce straight back into the Premiership with performances like that we've got to think again.
"We just didn't play well enough."
