Wenger hits back at Pards

Wenger said, “It disappoints me, it's very disappointing.  We are trying to kick racism out of football and racism starts there.

“Secondly, a player can accept a technical opinion from a manager but not those sort of remarks.  It's a regressive way of thinking and I would never want to say to a player you are better but can't play because of your passport.


“It's just not acceptable, unless the rules change.  It's like trying to make
Europe one country.  I always try to choose the best player.  My pride in my career is to not choose someone because of his passport.


“Alan Pardew called me at the beginning of the season to ask for Jeremie Aliadiere on loan and didn't check if he's English or not.  He just checked whether he's good or not. It's just painful.
