The report states that the Besiktas manager has just a year remaining on his current deal and is already looking at his options and fresh challenges

The report reveals that the former Hammer who holds some affection for the club could be persuaded to take on the challenge of taking the club to the Olympic Stadium according to his friends.

Besiktas are keen to keep hold of their manager and will try to convince him to stay by providing a warchest for new players to come to the Turkish side

Bilic is yet to hold any talks with West Ham and there appears to be a number of players that the club are considering for the role including Allardyce.

Allardyce appears set to end his tenure at West Ham when his four-year contract comes to an end this season, suggesting that he would not accept a new deal

David Moyes appears to have been first choice to replace Allardyce but appears unwilling to leave Real Sociedad after just one season

The 46-year-old Croatian played for West Ham in the 1996-97 season making 48 appearances and scoring 2 goals

Bilic started managing clubs in 2001 with Hajduk Split but has spent most of his managerial career with the Croatian national side only going back into club management in 2012 with Lokomotiv Moscow before joining Turkish outfit Besiktas in 2013.
