West Ham risk missing out on the signing of Adam Hlozek despite being offered the chance to bring him on loan this summer, 90min understands.
The 19-year-old is enjoying a superb season with Sparta Prague, bagging an impressive 21 goal contributions - eight goals and 13 assists - in 29 Czech First League games.
Hlozek has long been on the radar of surprise Europa League semi-finalists West Ham, as well as a number of other top European clubs, and 90min revealed in November that a January loan move was being considered.
The Hammers eventually opted against signing any players in the winter transfer window, despite their hectic fixture schedule, but there's expected to be significant activity this summer as the club look to establish themselves as regular challengers for a top six Premier League finish.
90min now understands that billionaire investor Daniel Kretinsky, who purchased a 27% stake in the club on 10 November and is the president of Sparta Prague, has personally proposed sending Hlozek on loan to London Stadium this summer - a deal that he is only willing to put forward for West Ham.

However, manager David Moyes and the club's head of recruitment, Rob Newman, wish to assess the club's options and do not want to sign off on a move for Hlozek - who already has 12 international caps for Czech Republic - until the season has ended.
The reluctance to take up Kretinsky's favourable offer could open the door for other interested parties to swoop in for Hlozek, who has already indicated that he is ready to move on and test himself at a higher level.
Juventus, Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund are among a host of top European clubs known to be keen on Hlozek, having been impressed with his performances as both a wide forward and as a striker during his time in Prague, while Liverpool - on course for an unprecedented quadruple - have also been credited with an interest.
