Zamora came to Upton Park last year as part of the deal that took Jermain Defoe to Tottenham and has since failed to win over both fans and manager.

Both Stoke and Reading have previously expressed an interest in the former Brighton & Hove Albion striker and it is thought they would have to part with about £1 million for him.

Zamora
started the season third choice striker behind Marlon Harewood and Teddy Sheringham but since Sheringham’s injury problems he has been playing first team football and according to reports, under-fire Manager, Alan Pardew has become frustrated with Zamora after his inconsistent performances.
