The ever-smiling Italian has completed his first year at the helm of the Hammers and has seen his side produce some stunning football along the way.
"We're really looking forward to next season. Last year we came tenth. This year we're ninth, so we achieved what we wanted," commented Zola to the official site.
"There was a moment in the season when we were hoping for something more. We were very unlucky not to get there. Two points behind seventh place ... in different circumstances, we could easily have been seventh. But that's football. I'm really happy with the team. It's been a great season.
