Faubert Return Edges Closer

Alan Curbishley believes that given the player's progress - which has seen him running in the last few weeks - the 24 year old could be back in contention as early as January.

"We are expecting him back here at the training ground next week.

"He has worked ever so hard so we are hoping he may be back in contention in the new year. Certainly by the end of January.

"I would like to think if he has a decent rehab out on the pitches then he shouldn't be far off that."
