Found a Bayer?

Leverkusen, who finished 9th in the Bundesliga last season, are willing to spend £1-2million on the French international who cost the Irons £6.1million back in July 2007.

Faubert suffered an injury setback shortly after signing which kept him out for over 6 months, but since his return and Gianfranco Zola's arrival, Faubert's performances have been far from convincing.

Real Madrid astonishlingly showed an interest to loan the player in January 2009 but he made only 2 appearances for the La Liga runners-up.

It is thought the Hammers are still keen to part with the Frenchman even at a loss, and despite a shortage of options at right-back following Lucas Neill's departure.
