Harewood bid rejected

Birmingham City see the striker as a useful addition to their frontline having been promoted to the Premiership, but West Ham United have rejected the offer.

It's probable that the club are waiting for a higher bid, especially after Birmingham themselves hiked up the price of Matthew Upson to allow his move to West Ham in January.

It's also possible that following the end of interest in Darren Bent, Harewood may be kept on until a suitable alternative is found.
