It's Dyer or Smith but Hammers must up Dyer bid

But the large manager has called it a 'gross undervaluation' and is waiting for a higher offer from the Hammers.

"£4million is too low in today's prices. In today's market, for a player like Kieron Dyer who is 27 years old, a top, top player in the Premier League and an England international. It's a gross under valuation by West Ham," he told Sky Sports.

West Ham have also been linked with Newcastle target Alan Smith, and it is believed that by signing Smith West Ham would end their interest in Kieron Dyer who they have already declared they are not willing to pay over the odds for.
