In a bid to snuff out West Ham's interest in full-back Nicky Shorey, Reading schedule showdown talks with the player
Speaking to Sky Sports, Shorey's agent David Giess said:
"Talks are scheduled for later this week regarding Nicky now Reading are back from South Korea.
"We will see how talks go and we hope for a successful conclusion."
Shorey has already admitted he would favour a move to Upton Park and described himself as "flattered" to be linked with West Ham.
