Roy Carroll - I think that Roy could be a blessing in disguise.  Not many fans would agree with me but, playing in European competitions and being a League and FA cup winner with Man United, his experience and ability could see us stay up this season.

Shaka Hislop - Signed by Pardew as cover for Carroll, beginning his 2nd spell as a Hammer.  He has played for many Premier League clubs in his career and he gained promotion with Portsmouth and he helped them to establish themselves as a Premier League outfit.  Hopefully he will do the same in the claret and blue.

Jimmy Walker - Unfortunately he was injured in the play-off final but has already become a fans favourite in his first full season with the club.  It will be hard to see Jimmy regaining his no1 jersey but once fully fit can Pardew really leave him out?

Tomas Repka - Re-signed for the club this summer and no one really knew he’d left.  He looked a totally different player last season and he was an inspiration in the last 5 games.  Hopefully he will show his worth this season as well.

Paul Konchesky - One of Pardew’s summer signings who now plays for his boyhood heroes.  He has shown that he is up for the challenge during pre-season games and he should prove to be one of Pardew's most influential signings.

Danny Gabbidon - Signed from Cardiff City along with team-mate James Collins. Gabbidon could prove to be a good partner for Anton Ferdinand or Elliot ward.  He has proved his worth already with some inspirational performances during pre-season.

James Collins - Named the ginger Monster from his days at Cardiff City.  He signed along with Danny Gabbidon this summer and has put in some very decent performances and he could be a good player given the chance in the Premiership.

Anton Ferdinand - Hoping to prove to his big brother Rio that he can also play in the top flight.  He has been one of our best players this past year and he may prove to be a solid centre back which will make our defence better.  I hope he lives up to the expectation.  Signed a new 4 year deal with the Hammers in July.

Elliot Ward - Only made the step up last season and proved to be the perfect partner for Anton Ferdinand.  Hopefully he will show his ability in the Premier League.

Christian Dailly - I can’t really see him making a big impact this season but he could prove us wrong.

Clive Clarke - Signed from Stoke for 275,000 in August he may prove to be a good signing.

Carl Fletcher - He may only be a substitute at the most.

Yossi Benayoun - The Israeli superstar may prove to be the best buy for west ham in the last 2 yrs.  Everyone has rated him highly and he was Racing Santander’s (of the LA LIGA) top goal scorer last season.  £2.5 million is a bargain if he keeps us up.

Nigel Reo-Coker - He has the ability to be an England player and with Sven Goran Eriksson looking for new blood in the midfield, Nigel Reo-coker could find himself with an England call up sooner rather then later.

Luke Chadwick - Experience may help but ability hasn’t been proven.  He has been loaned to Stoke City.

Hayden Mullins - A substitute at the most.

Shaun Newton - A good midfielder who has the talent and experience of the Premier League and hopefully he will show it.

Mark Noble - The young superstar who is regarded as one of our best players and only at the age of 17.  I'm not to sure he is ready for the big step up but will hopefully be a good player and prove myself wrong.

Matt Etherington - Hopefully he will make his old club Spurs look like fools for selling him by keeping us up.  He has the ability and quality of an excellent left sided midfielder, maybe an England call up could beckon?

Gavin Williams - He would be lucky to get into the team.

Teddy Sheringham - His experience of this level is unquestionable, he still has the brains and ability but not the speed nor stamina.

Bobby Zamora - His second stint as a Premier League player but hopefully he will prove to be a good player and score the goals that we need to stay up.

Marlon Harewood - Hasn’t been tested at this level but he does have the speed, skill and quality of a good Premier League striker.
